DTS Engineering Contractors, Inc. was incorporated in 1998. It is LEED certified and holds A-Haz and C-21 licenses. It specializes in underground utilities: water, sewer, fire lines, large storm drains-using concrete or synthetic materials such as plastic. This includes the installation of large vaults and storm water systems.
Other areas of expertise are concrete breaking/sawing, demolition, digging, hauling, trenching and grading. DTS Engineering Contractors is also experienced in the installation and removal of underground
storage tanks and tank upgrades; service station ground-ups.
We strive for excellence in our work and in our relationship with those with whom we work, whether they are large developers/contractors or small. DTS Engineering Contractors always has and continues to be committed to meeting the most demanding construction schedules.
We do both private and public (prevailing wage) projects.
Our work locales are primarily in Southern California from San Diego to Ventura County. We have also done projects in Nevada.
Don Smith, President, has been in the construction industry for 27 years. Previous to establishing DTS Engineering Contractors, he was owner/operator of Beach Cities Bobcat. He has not only run his companies from a management position, but he is also “hands on” in the field.
Chuck Nyland has been in the construction/sewer and water lines industry for 41 years.
Miguel Parra has been in the construction industry for 32 years.
